Surgery Policy

We realize that having surgery on your pet can be a stressfull time for you. We want to explain a few of our policies to help ease the stress.

1. All surgeries will have pre-operative bloodwork to help minimize the risk of unknown problems.

2. All surgeries will be hospitalized overnight unless the doctor decides otherwise.

3. All surgeries will be peroformed using sterile technique to minimize infection risk.

4. All surgeries will be monitored with EKG, blood pressure, temperature, pulse oximetry and respirations with an Ascill monitor.

5. All surgeries that require pain control will receive it.

6. Fees for surgery include all of these things so that there are no "suprises" on your bill.

We have decided to include all of these things to insure that we give all pets the same quality of care.
